Changing to Natural cleaning products


Where to begin! We all want to make our lives less toxic and use environmentally friendly products, but do they work and where do you even start?

Cleaning and our products we use on our body can have a huge impact on our health. All these products have toxins which are absorbed through the skin. They all create more toxic burden on our body and our poor bodies especially our liver has to work harder to eliminate these toxins.

By switching to more natural products can make all the difference to our health and sometimes is the missing puzzle a clients healing.

It may seem daunting to start changing all your products but here are some easy steps to take to make the process a lot easier and a lot cheaper.

There are so many natural products on the market now so the first things to do is:

  • Start by buying a natural general cleaner.

  • Finish the other many cleaning products you have for every room and replace it with the natural general cleaner.

  • Replace your dishwashing soap and your dishwasher product with a more natural option.

  • Replace your clothes washing products. with a cleaner option

  • Once the cleaning products are replaced start with your soaps then your shampoo and conditioner, then move onto your face products and makeup.

Recipe for an all purpose cleaner

  • Soak rinds of your choice of citrus fruits (lime, lemon, grapefruit) in vinegar for a few weeks then strain. The solution can be used to clean and disinfect countertops, stoves, bathrooms and is a great glass cleaner.

  • Add baking soda for more stubborn stains or if you need a scrub.



Coconut Moisturiser

  • 1 cup coconut oil (unrefined, cold-pressed)

  • 8-10 drops of your favourite essential oil

Mix all ingredients together and store in a airtight container
