Ongoing lack of sleep or poor quality sleep increases our risk of health problems.
How much sleep do we need? This depends on your age. It is recommended that an average adult should get 7-9 hours sleep a night.
How do we make sure we get a good night sleep? The best advice I can give you is maintain a consistent bedtime and wake up time, also create an environment ready for a good night sleep. Turn off any devices at least an hour before bedtime, make sure the room is the right temperature and is dark, eat well before bedtime ad use breathing and or meditation exercise if needed.
